A lot of festivals and fresh content await us in both World of Warcraft and Star Trek Online!

In Star Trek Online we had the release of a new expansion, so be sure to hop ingame and play through it all. The RISA event is now active, so make sure you finish collecting your favour before the event is over! There is a new ship waiting for you as a reward.

In autumn we will get another release - "Age of Discovery". Here is what was shared with the players so far:

Star Trek Online is about to take you into the world of the latest Star Trek TV series, Star Trek: Discovery. Captains will take the first step on a continuing journey to 2256, in the height of the Klingon War. For the very first time in STO’s history, we’ll be updating the game in line with a currently airing Star Trek series. Here’s what to expect from Star Trek Online: Age of Discovery:

Age of Discovery opens in the year 2256, just after the Battle at the Binary Stars. In the wake of a brutal war against the Klingons, Starfleet Captains must face J’Ula, matriarch of the House of Mo’Kai and sister of T’Kuvma, who seeks to alter the destiny of the Alpha Quadrant. Players will need to rely on the help of fellow Starfleet Academy Cadet Syliva Tilly (played by Discovery actress Mary Wiseman), who has come home to assist with training and see them off on their first assignment. From there, they will journey to iconic locations from Star Trek: Discovery, like the Dilithium Mines of Corvan II, explore the new experimental Crossfield class Starship, the U.S.S. Glenn, and defend Starbase 1 from a fearsome attack by the Klingon House of D’Ghor.

In October you will get the chance to access the episode „Hearts and Minds“ which is always available for Halloween and every Friday, 13^th. If you haven't done it yet, please do and get that special Doff. Then of course with winter comes Q's Winter Wonderland. So come online and join the fun.

In World of Warcraft Patch 8.0.1 is now live. We are in the pre-expansion phase so make sure you do the quests if you are interested in the Lore and story of WoW as the "War of Thorns" quests will no longer be available after August 14th. That's when Battle for Azeroth gets released and I hope to see you all ingame to explore the new content. The more guildies, the merrier. And the less deadly, so please come and join.

There will also be some light hearted fun though, not everything is grim, deady and sad (Oh Sylvanas, what have you done?!) Trial of Style will be on from August 17th - August 21st. We gather for Harvest festival at Sept 18th, it will be around 'til Sept. 25th. Pirates' Day is September 19th. Brewfest traditionally starts the day after that on September 20^th and lasts until Fri October 6^th. Hallows End will be upon us from Oct 18^th until Nov 1^st. WoW will celebrate it's 14^th birthday from Nov 16^th to Nov 30^th – so make sure you log in during that time! Pilgrim's Bounty will happen from Nov 19^{th –} Nov 26^th, perfect time to level up your cooking skill. And on Dec 16^th Winter Veil is going to be live again, make sure to open your presents when you find them under your Christmas trees...
